I decline if it is not a good fit
If your task is too large for one person or someone else could do it better, I will tell you during the first conversation. I would rather decline an assignment than let a project drag on.
The source code is yours
After payment, you receive everything: source code, access credentials and documentation. Nothing is designed to tie you to me. If you want to switch providers, you should be able to.
Prices upfront, not afterwards
Before work starts, you receive a fixed figure or a clearly defined range. If something new is added during the project, we discuss it beforehand rather than slipping it into the final invoice.
No unnecessary third-party services
No fonts loaded from Google, no third-party analytics, no tools that send your visitors’ data abroad. This keeps the privacy policy short and helps you avoid trouble.
I only build what can be maintained
Technology that nobody understands in two years is not progress. I deliberately choose unexciting, well-documented tools, even when newer ones sound more impressive.
Honest about capacity
NordApps is one person. That means direct communication and a consistent point of contact, but also limited capacity. I explain both upfront, not when things get tight.

What happens if you become ill?
For a short absence, the schedule shifts and you are informed immediately. For a longer absence, the source code, access credentials and documentation are with you from the start, not just with me. Another developer can therefore take over. That is precisely why I document the work.
What if you close the business?
The same applies. You have everything needed to continue independently of me. There is no expiring licence and no key that only I hold.
What work can I look at?
This NordApps website is my own project. You can try the enquiry configurator and pricing overview directly. For your task, we can begin with a clearly defined initial assignment before you commission further steps.
Can you also handle larger projects?
Up to a certain size, yes. Beyond that, I would become a bottleneck, and I will tell you so. For larger projects, I can refer you elsewhere or contribute to a larger team.
Why is there no VAT on the invoice?
Because I am a small business under section 19 of the German VAT Act. For private individuals, associations or practices without input VAT deduction, this is a real price advantage. For businesses entitled to deduct input VAT, it is neutral. You pay a lower gross amount but have no VAT to deduct.
